Sometimes I have to remind myself that I have done some amazing things as I writer. While I haven’t resolved to write my first book yet and have been busy reviewing products as a mom blogger I haven’t forgotten my first love and that’s writing.
Way back in 2004 I remember the elation I felt for actually penning a chapter in If Women Ruled the World: How to Create the World We Want to Live in — Stories, Ideas, and Inspiration for Change alongside heavyweights like Arianna Huffington, Ann Crittenden, Joan Blades, and Barbara Ehrenreich. I was so very proud of myself then and still am.
Something made me remember this achievement today. I have no idea what triggered it. In fact, I had no idea that in 2004 the book was published. For some odd reason I thought surely If Women Ruled the World was published in 2006. What a testament to how fast time flies and how far I have grown as a blogger and writer.
