My life is constantly in flux. The mom blogging community changes faster than most of us can keep up with and we’re all trying to remain as relevant as possible without ticking people off or compromising our core principles.
I’m sitting here simply blogging off the cuff. I don’t even know what my next sentence will be. I like this blog post.
I tend to have pretty good ideas and keen insights about where mom blogging is going, but I have to admit I honestly don’t know right now.
Mom bloggers may begin to be approached in large numbers to be corporate spokespeople. Moms may need to get agents.
Companies have figured out that blogger junkets are relatively inexpensive and buzz goes a long way. Only thing: What’s next? There are only so many trips that moms can take before blogger jealousy rages out of control and people’s eyes gloss over when tweets blast out about the latest blogger trip.
Product reviews: They’re oversaturating blogs, yet they’re still seemingly effective.
One thing I definitely know: 2010 won’t be the same as this year. Each day I look for clues to see where the trends are going, but they’re not revealing themselves readily like they used to.
