2010 is an Ideas Year

It feels a lot like 2007. Three years ago marked the time when the vast majority of the mom blogging community shifted from personal blogging to a hybrid between personal blogging and reviewing products. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s time for innovative ideas again. Great ideas are difficult to come by because we are limited by what we can do on the platforms we use most, from blogs to social networks to smart phones.

My prediction: The moms who spend the most time:

— thinking up new ideas outside the box

— tinkering with them to perfection

— using their ideas across social media platforms and

— partnering with other moms and/or corporations to everyone’s benefit

will be the most successful in 2010. I think we’re all looking for the next big idea that makes moms stop and think, “Wow, this is a really great concept and I love the execution.”

I spend a lot of my time thinking up new ideas and new ways to communicate. I personally am invigorated by the process of creating something new. There are a lot of ideas to be launched in 2010 and I am anxiously anticipating watching them unfold.

Have you seen any new ideas in the mom blogging community yet? Are you starting anything new?

Commenting is good for your soul. It is.
