It’s 12:22 AM on Friday morning. I am sitting here two days before going to Kenya with ONE and I cannot sleep. I know I still have so much to do before I go – packing, finishing last minute things with the Mom Bloggers Club, catching up on emails, and making sure my family is prepared for an entire week without me.
Today we had our final briefing about the trip to Kenya including site visits and the types of things we’ll be doing while in Kenya. I will post our itinerary tomorrow. Believe me when I say the itinerary is amazing. We will learn so much, but there is no doubt we’ll be taking in a lot and seeing many things on the ground that will really make us think and challenge us to tell the stories of people who need our help in some form or another.
I’ve been thinking about how I will approach this trip in terms of covering it for you to follow along with us. Over the next week or two you will receive countless updates from me here on my personal blog, on the Mom Bloggers Club, on Twitter, on Facebook, on Tumblr and everywhere else I can share the stories of the women and men we will be meeting in Kenya.
Stay tuned to a whirlwind of updates starting on Saturday and lasting throughout the week until July 31 when we land back in the States.
I’m tired and typing on my iPad. Please forgive any typos.

I hope you all have a wonderful trip, I cant wait to read all about it, you are more than deserving of this. Be Blessed and Safe
Thank you! I am so glad you’ll be reading along.
